Welcome to Ferndale Rodbourne Youth Football Club.
About us
Ferndale EC FC was founded in 1906 and Rodbourne Mannington was founded in 1984. The two joined together in 1996 to form Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC. We are one of the most established youth football clubs in Swindon. We are a community-centered football club that actively encourages children of all ages to take part in football in a safe and friendly environment. Our philosophy is to help young players develop and enjoy their football first and foremost.
We have over 196 young football players representing the club from under 7 to under 18 age groups. All our teams play at Ferndale School in Swindon and compete in the North Wilts Minor & Youth District League.
We were awarded the FA Charter Standard in 1998, demonstrating our commitment to ensuring that all young players are able to learn and enjoy playing football in a safe, organised, and positive environment.
14 managers (14 teams and a mini-balls group for 4 to 6-year-olds). There are currently 4 committee members,

A warm welcome to Ferndale Rodbourne YC FC, on what proves to be a super afternoon for Minor football. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us for a festival of football and hopefully a good warm-up for the season ahead.
Ferndale is steeped in history having been formed in 1895 on the very site you are playing today, playing under 18 football through both world wars and helping thousands of boys and girls have that social inclusion and make new circles of friends. We wish you all a great day and hopefully, teams, coaches and spectators treat the day for what it is, Fun.
Before I end, I must thank the volunteers that have assisted in putting today’s event on, from setting up pitches to car park attendants and the guys refereeing the matches it couldn’t happen without them. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mister Shifter for sponsoring the event this year with providing the mementos for the players.
Look forward to welcoming you back to Ferndale Rodbourne during the season and next year’s festival.
Yours in Sport Clive Page Chairman
